An upgrade from the Les Paul Jr but still considered a student-level guitar, the Les Paul Special was introduced in 1955 also with P-90 pickups. More recent models follow the same basic template with the same slab body, bound neck with dot inlays, and electronic configuration. We also have the addition of a Tune’O Matic bridge for increased sustain and intonation adjustment. This guitar is from 1990 and has some body dings and also has a headstock stress crack that has been sealed and clamped by our inhouse luthier to ensure another 30 plus years of playing. Good vintage condition not a museum piece but looks very nice with minimum dings scratches chips etc. some touched up areas throughout especially in the edges of the headstock. Plugged in it really has a quality tone with a full deep low end and clear clean mids. The frets are typical vintage height frets but it still plays smoothly with no issue. It plays quite easily with solid action no dead frets or buzz as it’s set up, new strings ready to play for my preferences but set up and all related work is YOUR preferences and YOUR responsibility. comes in it’s chipboard case.
